Coalesce explores the articulation of ground through elevation, generated by the operations of cutting, slitting, and pushing paper. These cuts form platforms and an elevated canopy that emerge from the terrain. Rather than acting as a conventional bridge, the project restricts circulation to a predetermined path, slowing movement through curved routes and framing encounters with the river and surrounding landscape.
